RIMS
Marvel wheels are available in multiple depths. Their aerodynamic design makes them fit for training and racing, saving you precious watts. The rims are designed to be strong and stiff, making for a not only a wheel that is durable and long lasting, but also giving you excellent power transfer during hard efforts.

BRAKE SURFACE
Marvel uses a blend of 270 ℃, high-temperature resin developed by Elitewheels and Japan’s Toray T800 carbon fiber for the brake surface. To ensure excellent braking performance even on long descents in the rain, the brake track has laser-etched grooves to clear water off.

HUB
Marvel wheels feature high flange hubs which offer greater lateral stiffness, improving stability. Both the front and rear wheel hubs feature ceramic bearings with an extremely low coefficient of friction, saving you precious watts. The front hub uses 6803 ceramic bearings and the rear hub uses three 6803 bearings and one 6903 bearing. The larger the bearing, the better the rigidity. Marvel wheels can also be upgraded to DT Swiss hubs upon request.

SPOKES
Marvel wheels use Pillar PA 1423 spokes in their standard configuration. An optional upgrade to Sapim CX-Ray spokes is also available.

TRD Technology
Marvel wheels make use of Elitewheels’ TRD (Tubeless R-angle Design). This design uses rounded edges to allow for effortless tire installation. All of our rims are tubeless compatible.

FAQ

Is there an internal nipple option?

YES. MARVEL wheels come standard with external nipples. If you would like internal nipples instead, then we will have to produce new rims. It takes approximately 7-15 days to manufacture new rims. As they are not in stock, you will have to wait longer before receiving your wheels.

Are brake pads included? Can I use break pads from other brands?

Yes, we will put a pair of brake pads in the carton for every pair of MARVEL wheels. We recommend you contact us for replacement brake pads. If you order replacement pads from other brands, make sure they are suitable for carbon rims.

Are ceramic bearings easily broken?

As all our our hubs have high-precision manufacturing tolerances, bearing play is significantly reduced. Because of this, the likelihood of bearings being damaged is extremely low.

What does that rider weight limit include?

The rider weight limit includes the total weight of the rider, bike, gear, and any other accessories. Please do not exceed this weight.

Marvel 50V II Rim Brake
The Marvel 50V II is built for riders seeking an all-round wheelset optimized for flat and fast terrain. Though entry-level, it delivers impressive speed, stability, and efficiency. Featuring Alpina Ultralite Aero spokes, ceramic bearing hubs, and an aerodynamic profile for 23-30C tires, it weighs just 1485g.
Compared with the first generation, the Marvel 50V II keeps its stiffness while reducing weight through an optimized carbon layup. It also features a new 3K 45° twill brake surface and upgraded Alpina Ultralite Aero spokes, cutting spoke weight from 6.5g to 4.2g for greater responsiveness and aerodynamic gains.

*To ensure that the wheels are compatible with your bike and to prevent any rubbing, the brake pads should be at least 2mm away from the rim’s braking surface on both sides. We recommend checking with your frame and brake caliper manufacturers for the maximum tire clearance before placing your order.
