SIL-TEC is Shimano’s new surface coating for the lowest friction. Compared to simple coatings such as chrome plating, SIL-TEC is a coating process using embedded fluorine particles. SIL-TEC products are smoother and last longer under all conditions.
HG-X
Special MTB 10-speed chain with predetermined direction of travel (directional chain). Robust, self-cleaning and with advanced HYPERGLIDE switching function. Not suitable for 10-speed racing bike systems.
